Living Intelligence is an independent technology studio in San Francisco, founded by Álex Filipe Santos.

We explore how intelligence can improve the way people live, work, create, and interact with their environments. The aim is useful, humane technology that people can understand and trust, with privacy and human agency at its center.

Aetherloom
An open-source native macOS app in development for syncing folders across cloud services, local storage, and NAS. It focuses on keeping readable copies of files in storage you control, with review of potentially destructive changes.
Home Intelligence
A local-first smart-home project in development using Home Assistant. It explores adaptive ambience, energy insights, and speaker coordination, with understandable behavior and human control.
